Super Bust-A-Move 2, known as Super Puzzle Bobble 2 (スーパーパズルボブル2 Sūpā Pazuru Boburu Tsū?) in Japan, is a game in the Puzzle Bobble series developed by Dreams, and released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2. The game is a sequel to Super Bust-A-Move.
The game was re-released alongside the first game in 2004 as part of the Simple 2000 Series only in Japan.
Gameplay[]
The game incorporates all the same elements, music, and gameplay as the previous game but with a few new additions. These include a story mode with FMV cutscenes, marathon-like level types, two new characters: Smiley and Weepy, and lastly an edit mode, which allows players to create their own customized rounds.
Plot[]
In the far corner of Puzzle World deep within the woods, a tower was built thousands of years ago which is said to bestow great rewards and honor to the person who can conquer it. The character chosen by the player accepts this challenge and attempts to conquer the tower. Little do they know they aren't the only one inside the tower trying to do so, too.
