Square Enix Co., Ltd. (株式会社スクウェア・エニックス Kabushiki-gaisha Sukuea Enikkusu?) is a Japanese entertainment company primarily known for its production of video games, most notably the Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts series. Outside of video games, the company is also in the business of merchandise, arcade centers, and manga publication under the Gangan Comics brand.

The company was formed in 2003 as the result of a merger between Japanese video game companies Square Co., Ltd and Enix Corporation. It is the parent company of Taito, the developer and publisher of the Bubble Bobble series, who Square Enix purchased in 2005.
