The Magic Parasol (魔法のカサ Mahō no Kasa?) is a recurring object in the Bubble Bobble series. The Magic Parasols serve as Bubby and Bobby's primary equipment in Parasol Stars, and were given to the brothers by the villagers of the Rainbow Islands as thanks for defeating the Super Skel-Monsta.

Prior to the events of Parasol Stars, Bubby and Bobby were given the Magic Parasols by the people of the Rainbow Islands as thanks for their efforts in defeating the Super Skel-Monsta during the events of Rainbow Islands.
Parasol Stars[]
The Magic Parasols first appear in Parasol Stars, with Bubby and Bobby setting out to rescue the surrounding planets from the invading forces of Chaostikhan. In-game, Bubby and Bobby are able to use the Magic Parasols to pick up enemies, drops, and even one another in order to throw them and defeat enemies or collect items. The Parasol can also be used to slow their descent, shield them from enemy projectiles falling from above, and accumulate drops in order to build up a Big Drop that they are able to attack with.
Bubble Memories[]
The Magic Parasols make an appearance in both the standard and true endings of Bubble Memories, being used by Bub and Bob in the former to descend from the Rainbow Tower, and used by their human forms, Bubby and Bobby, to descend from the Tower of Darkness in the latter.
Rainbow Islands[]
Bubby and Bobby are shown wielding the Magic Parasols in the 2001 Game Boy Color version of Rainbow Islands, though they cannot be used during gameplay. In the game's intro, the two are shown flying through space using the parasols, wondering what kind of adventure to go on next, before coming across the President of the Rainbow Islands being kidnapped by King Fossil. After freeing the President using their Rainbow Magic, he informs the brothers that the archipelago is under attack by monsters, and the duo set off to rescue their home once more. The duo are also shown wielding the Magic Parasols on the game's title screen and in various cinematics played before starting the game's worlds.
