Haruka (はるかちゃん Haruka-chan?) is a character appearing in Space Bust-A-Move. She is a young girl who has run away from her home planet.

Haruka ostensibly resembles a human with long brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a sleeveless red dress with a fringe comprised of blue and yellow balls at the bottom, as well as a blue bandana around her neck. She also wears white gloves with a red stripe around the wrists, and red thigh-high boots with a blue stripe at the top and yellow-colored toe areas. She possesses red antenna-like appendages with a blue and yellow stripe around her ear area, though it is unknown if these are simply accessories or part of her body.

Haruka appears to be a curious and kind young girl. She is said to always be bothered by her frizzy hair.

Haruka appears to possess hydrokinetic abilities, and multiple of her animations as a playable character depict her riding atop waves or geysers of water.

Space Bust-A-Move[]
Haruka appears as a playable character in Space Bust-A-Move.
In the story mode, she encounters Bub and Bob on the planet Poseidon as they search for Cosmo Bubbles, and asks them to show her how to burst bubbles like them, saying the activity looks fun. Bub and Bob proceed to teach her how and proceed bursting bubbles in order to search the planet. After thoroughly exploring Poseidon and collecting the Cosmo Bubbles, along with a run-in with Gasharn after wandering into its territory, Haruka thanks the brothers, saying it was a lot of fun and that she had a great lesson, and the two part ways.
