The Diamond (ダイヤ Daiya?) is a recurring type of item in the Bubble Bobble series. Diamonds differ in function between appearances; in most Bubble Bobble games, they simply serve as high value food items to be collected for points, but in the Rainbow Islands series, they serve as special items that must be collected in order to reach the true ending of the game.
