Betty (ベティー Betī?), alternatively known as Kulun (クルン Kurun?), is Bubby's girlfriend and the human form of Peb.

- While Betty from the original Bubble Bobble and Kulun from Bubble Symphony were originally stated to be separate characters (with Kulun being a descendant of the original Bub and Bob), later media pertaining to the series refers to the female characters from Bubble Symphony as Bub and Bob's childhood friends and love interests. Peb, who was originally introduced as the Bubble Dragon form of Betty in Bubble Bobble Plus!, was also established as being the same character as Kululun from Bubble Symphony. Despite this, the names "Betty" and "Kulun" are both still utilized in Japanese, with the former used to refer to the character from the original game and the latter used in reference to the plot of Bubble Symphony.
- While the original portrayal of the Bubble Symphony characters being descendants of those from Bubble Bobble is still occasionally referenced, typically when referring to the plot of the former game, a number of other sources treat the "modern" Bub and Bob as the same characters from the original game, further conflating Betty and Kulun as being the same character albeit rather inconsistently.
